A rollicking good time, this one. Rock solid from start to the fantastic minute ending 'To Nk Roachmen'. Revisiting it almost made me nostalgic: last time I really enjoyed a Fall record from start to finish was 2010's Our Future Your Clutter, but I think in retrospect their 80's "sound" had a bit more bite.
I can agree that their influence makes them a potentially "unassailable" band, but they aren't my go-to for post-punk either (that would be early Swans, Echo & The Bunnymen, Julian Cope, etc.). Still fun anyway. 7 out of 10.
