Sorry, govner. He released two LPs in 2018 - Vivamus sit potens and Jericho. Grassow has a dauntingly large catalog of over 100 drone albums, but most of it is stripped-down, minimal drone so a lot of it blends together. I'd posted the 2004 set as it seems to be his best work, forgetting the current year stipulation. My apologies.

But for simple, straightforward drones, it might be worth tracking down a megatorrent because there's a ton of it here. Like Moby's 4-hour Long Ambients 1: Calm. Sleep. from 2016, there isn't a lot to it, but it's effective for meditation/yoga/etc.

if this hasn't been posted yet it really should. it's magnificent. may be less "ambient/drone" than others in this thread - it's got noticeable rhythm and vocals - but im shouting this out regardless. give a listen or 12.

This was released two days ago. Heavily influenced by early Tangerine Dream. I’m listening to this thinking goddamn this is way better than I thought it would be.

Less than 1000 listens for his most popular songs on Spotify (he’s got a bunch of records on there)

I have a feeling this German, Gottfried Bonn, has a pretty good day job. Maybe a day late but not a dollar short.
