This surprises me though. Literally every song is a different singer than all the other songs.

^ I thought the same thing as Trollheart, for the first 3 or 4 songs, until I checked the album credits while I was listening to it and found out that there were multiple guest vocalists.

I'd say that speaks to how cliched these vocalists are.

lol

Making use of the guest artists is second only to paying tribute to Nyro.

I might be a **** but at least I took the time to figure out what Childs was up to.

It’s Alison Krauss. Her band Union Station has one of the most jaw droppingly good mandolin players of all time, Adam Steffey.

Btw, you misused the word “discombobulated”, writer.

To a degree but mostly it speaks to the fact that Trollheart didn’t really listen to it.

Some stand out but a good 75% of them could very well be the same chick at a karaoke bar.

In other words, you took the time to learn something about what you were listening to. That’s part of the process.

Fine. But after my review Trollheart responds with this

Quote:
Everything about Hawk is music snobbery 101
So my response is at least I was considerate enough to actually listen to it.

That, as you well know, was not really to do with your critique of the album but with your attack on Rubber Soul and your stance that you seem to think that you know better than everyone else, which is Hawk101.

I listened to it. I just didn't particularly care enough to go checking whether there were other vocalists or not. Every song sounded to me like the same person. Plus I was doing other stuff at the time, so again, didn't care.
