One of my favourite Zep albums, along with Presence, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti. Almost unassailable. Nobody will be surprised to hear that I love "Stairway to Heaven" and "Going to California", but I have to agree with most that "When the Levee Breaks" is the top track on it, and what a great way to end an album. Not to mention you have Plant's ode to fellatio ringing in your ears as the song runs towards its end!

9/10

This is dumb and so are you. In hindsight it seems like people just love it because it's Zeppelin (wrong gen kids do for sure), but nigga IV is a big part of what gave Zeppelin that kind of name recognition. If it was released by a band not named Led Zeppelin, Chula would just be jacking off about IV under a different artist's name.

On par with
"If Madvillainy wasn't released by DOOM then you dumb hipsters wouldn't care."
"If Jane Doe was released by Metallica, people would be like yo wtf is this garbage."
"The Big Bang Theory is hilarious."
"Something equally dumb about a post-hardcore band you like."

Dude, whuzzamuckhowizat? No two Sabbath albums sound the same. I don't even know what crack you're on right now. And Led Zeppelin "expanding" was like watching me jack off.

They evolved both in songwriting and recording, but the formula stayed pretty much the same.

If that's the case, then that goes doubly for Zeppelin.

It set the boring rock song in motion.

Don't blame the rest of us just because your aural brain training got severely stunted somewhere along the way.
