I can see Kate Bush, the Hounds of Love album most of all, but APC?

I never really heard Thirteenth Step properly, so maybe you're thinking of something from that time?

I'm straining to see hear it

Her vocal melodies are somewhat similar (to APC's whole style, not Maynard's singing) in the beginning of the album. I can't stand APC btw, I just thought it was an interesting connection.

When I hear it again, maybe I'll pick up on that.

I don't think APC are great by any means, btw, but I do like Mer De Noms fairly much.

Absolutely. I've always wanted to be a Big Ups fan and they finally won me over.

Got this literally for the cover. Turned out to be some decent singer/songwriter stuff. Never heard of this guy before but it's pretty good.

Id love to say I'm digging the new Shinedown, but it is a droner. It's almost one long song with a few seconds of silence every 3-5 minutes.

And those seconds are the best part, right?
