Grooveshark was awesome.

I remember it being a bootleg Spotify that had no app to make it internet or CPU intensive. One of the reasons I never liked Spotify is because it was always jenky on my computers.

If you searched for music it generally had it. That was enough for me to love it. I've never worried about streaming sites giving me recs so Grooveshark not doing so was never a concern. It just gave me the music I asked it to. That was enough.

Last person on earth I'd want to sit down and have dinner with:
Robert Fripp (Christophe, he edged you out by a nose.) |
The double trio line-up was pretty underwhelming.
Still very cool but it's probably my least favourite incarnation. They could have done much more with it. |

If I published music and had a fanbase, I'd want my music to be available in every avenue where my fans wanted to hear it. Want it on Spotify, Tidal and iTunes? You got it. Want it on vinyl, CD and tape? If economically feasible, you got it.
I'd just want my music to be heard and not argue with how people want to listen to their music. |
