Your vote only counts if you say something about the album. It doesn't need to be a paragraph, just a couple sentences about the album. Album needs to garner at least ten Votes to earn classic status. Also, I'll ask mods to delete Votes this time. Just a couple of sentences, that's all. If you don't say anything but vote there will be no warning before the vote is deleted. |
I did it again... can a mod add a poll please.

Dumb mofo. There you go.
Also, Madvillainy...what can be said? It's a genre creating piece of mastery. It's something that can and probably will stand the test of time and I'm glad Madlib and Doom aren't really trying to duplicate it. It stands alone. |

There's understanding that this is a masterpiece and there's being wrong. Psyched out, jazzy, busy production, DOOM's flow, one-liners, a comic book reading style, it's one hell of a package. I can't think of anything bad to say about this record, even the skits are good and that's rare as ****. 10/10

big fan tenner. it’s the pinnacle of what hip hop can be. it’s not as simple as good lyrics, a great beat, or the smoothest flow. it’s bringing all these different elements and inspirations together into a single project.

inb4 LAMEphenor gives it a 1 because he hates the blacks.

Apart from what has been said already, The main reason i keep coming back to this album is DOOM's lyrics. There are tracks i overlooked which recently i realized have great lyrics like Rhinestone Cowboy.
Mmm food is just as good tho. |
