Alright if you think so. I think their music has allot of substance and quality. That's just what my ears are picking up. Some people label hard rock and heavy metal untalented crap and just noise and consider crappy indie bands like Death Cab for Cutie and the Plain White T's music for intellectuals but I certainly don't. A band like Megadeth are more than just about riffs they also tackle allot of social issues and world problems like the song Countdown to Extinction which is about animals that are going extinct because of hunters and poachers. I think there are allot of smart Hard Rock and Heavy Metal bands like Megadeth and the other ones I listed as my favorites.

It's "a lot". Two words.

And Megadeth make boring, overrated music, regardless of their hackneyed lyrical content.

Dave Mustaine turned into a ****ing idiot when he got older after he became a born again christian and started announcing his screwed up backwards conservative political propaganda in the press but I'm still a fan of him anyway. Nobody's perfect.
