Remember that it's only within the context of Bowie's discography. I expect to like several of his albums a lot better, so I'm going with a middle grade for those two.

Just never been a classic rock guy. These albums have the cards stacked against them from the start. It's a miracle that I like The Man Who Fell To Earth so much.

The album is a 5 simply because of Ken Scott's production alone.

And Mick Ronson's guitar work. And Bowie. And the songs. And.....

I'm pretty sure I have some comments on that other thread, but of course this is a five. This is Bowie's most famous album to be sure and in a sense this is his Sgt. Pepper, if you will. It isn't my favorite Bowie as it has to take second place to Hunky Dory. but it is nonetheless a classic. Favorite tracks are Moonage Daydream, Hang On To Yourself, and Lady Stardust.
