I don't trust anyone who can't crack open a camp fire while sitting around a surf rock, listening to beer. Not everything has to be so complicated.

Is it weird that I read this the right way first even with the obvious trickery?

Surf rock is generally stupid, cliched, and all ****ty though.

Dick Dale's cool as **** but everyone's making fools of themselves trying to cop his style.

You ought to love that The Cramps, not hate them for being basic.
I meant that their core (i.e. basic) sound annoys me, as opposed to this that or the other thing that the band does that they don't necessarily do all the time. Listening to The Cramps is basically me being bored 100% of the time.

Except they're nothing like a 50s sci-fi b-movie. They're much closer to a lame surf punk band.
