It's one of those bands that fall into the "eh, i'll get to it eventually" category. Mostly bands that I've heard of, have heard they're good, but I have no interest in at the moment. The Cure has been on that list for quite some time.

I've also never listened to The Smiths.

I have to admit the Cure has been kind of a meh band for me too. They certainly have their moments but I'd probably would prefer classic Siouxsie over classic Cure.

I've listened to all The Cure's albums, but Disintegration is the only one I've kept in my collection. It's the only one that resonates with me.

Is anyone* even bothered about this? I see 12 replies for the debut album and all of one for the second album. No point in posting albums if nobody* wants to talk about them or vote for them. Let me know if the interest has flagged already. Personally, I don't much care to be honest.

I'm a bit overburdened with other things at the moment.

I guess I'm not exremely interested in going through all of their albums either. Hard to say. Right now I don't feel much like doing anything like that. Got some work/life stuff hanging over my head.

The Cure are a bit underwhelming. They're very much a "you had to have been there" kind of band. I was there, and I still don't care.

I liked the first album a fair bit, but I don't know if I'd ever really become a fan of the band. Never say never, but there are other bands I'd wager would be more worth the kind of time investment it takes to listen to a whole discography.

I'll get to Seventeen Seconds today. Now that I've done the Bowies I can work on the Cure. I have Seventeen Seconds so all I have to listen to really is the first album and I already know some of the tracks off that one too.
