Thumbs down Which Influential Band Inspired The Worst Crap?

I'd say Iron Maiden. I can't imagine how much cheesy, high concept, middle-of-the-road metal they spawned

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Great question

I disagree with your answer though. Imo Maiden pushed metal very much in the right direction.

I’m gonna say Zep quick answer. But I could be influenced to change my answer. LZ is one of my favorite bands but the bands they influenced (with a few examples) really suck.

I'm pretty sure Nightwish takes the cake.

I imagine that any influential band will inspire more ****ty bands than good ones.

There are just far more ****ty bands than good ones in general.

Who's responsible for all of the terrible old man blues rock bands? SRV was a touchstone but can we blame Hendrix?
