Default Rogue MB Classics: Suburban Lawns

Too cool for the regular MB Classics.

Rate and discuss. Only votes backed with an explanation count.

I have never heard of either of these but I'm interested based on album covers alone. I'll vote later.

I post about them in my journal. I guess they were also a favorite of Sansa. She played them in plug.dj once.

I've read this song was written about the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.

Not bad. I used to watch New Wave Theatre when they had it on USA Network's Night Flight in the eighties. They had some pretty wild bands on that show.

I forgot to vote on this.

Favorite new wave band. So weird and just so out there compared to others of the same sound during that time. Su Tissue is a strange girl. Tight and catchy songwriting with bizarre lyrics and Su Tissue making weird ass noises. It's like they took Crimson/Adrian Belew's"Elephant Talk" and transformed it into a full post punk/new wave album. Brilliant. Recently finally found the LP.
