Which Genre(s) Suck(s) Most?

I can't hate on most genres, because I admit I'm just ignorant when it comes to most genres. I mean, I still find really amazing things in genres I know really well, so why would I know enough about country to say with confidence that it sucks?

I don't even really hate prog rock. I just haven't connected with most of the stuff I'm told I should listen to. Sooner or later, I'll no doubt find a couple obscure bands that I'll fall in love with.

Btw, I don't know if they're really all that progressive or not, but I listened to a Gentle Giant album yesterday and liked it quite a bit.

I’m curious about the division of jazz in this poll. Why just “jazz”, “free jazz”, and “smooth jazz”? What does simply “jazz” refer to in that context?

Also, I like the fact that no style of music from Asia, Africa, or Latin America sucks enough to make the list.

Because if you don't have a poll with "free jazz" on it, 100,000 little Frownlands will show up at your door and bite at your ankles until you admit that it's a very listenable and legitimate genre while wearing a "Wolves In Sheepskin Suck Ass" t-shirt.

According to this poll, MB hates country more than it hates symphonic metal, and it prefers folk metal to classical.

I'm 90% certain that I voted on symphonic metal and I'm fairly certain I didn't vote country. But I know for sure that I did vote rockabilly.
