I've grown to dislike the sound of a lot of alt-country because of how much it'd play on the radio at my old job, but this isn't terrible. She's from New Pornographers, right? She's got a nice voice even if it clashes a bit awkwardly with the bombastic, roomier production in some places. Still, I enjoy the chamber vibe.
