is it only me? or am I the only one who find Lodger totally blah, cept for DJ

Lodger's great, in my opinion. It gets nowhere near the accolades that Low and "Heroes" receive, and it's the most accessible of the Berlin Trilogy, but it's still a hugely absorbing listen. There's more of world music influence on it compared to the other two, and I think its slightly softer sound represents a perfect end to his German adventures. He clearly came out of the experience reinvigorated, and Lodger is an album brimming with contentment, despite the concept of a lonely drifter.

Lodger and Scary Monsters are, of the ones I've heard, two of my least favorite Bowie albums
