The first song really reminds me of Sleater-Kinney. I like it a lot. Muscular bass and guitar sound, a nice middle ground between shoegaze and punk. The second one has a lovely bassline and percussion. I don't care much for the vocals but the music grooves

thanks guys!
I still have trouble really getting into house. Especially the Nylon Strung track, I think it was partly due to the singing. After a while I enjoyed the Kasablanca one. I wan't familiar with Louis Cole but this rules in a goofy but funky way. Love the weird sax and the dumb captions Also @fire I'm still catching up with your recs, the Akkajee album rules
