I thought the first song was posh, but not an insipid pop song. I like the outro to Minature Alas, the synthesizer had just the right sound with the haunting vibrato - I thought. For the next two songs: there is a certain je ne sais quoi about live performances I really enjoy. The sound quality for the second video really good and that adds an extra something to it too. from Mold, Flintshire, Wales: The Joy Formidable - Whirring (Live on KEXP) Recorded 3/17/2011 from Portland, Oregon: Blouse perform "Imperium" at CT5 circa 2013
