I had to pick one book and it's going to be a comic book and nostalgia is a factor and unfortunately I did not grow up with Judge Dredd besides the Stallone movie I've seen like twice. I could have gone with either Batman or Spider-Man but I think Spider-Man would be better for "any given day".

Have you read any modern Dredd btw? Cause it's still good and John Wagner is still writing or at least he was as of a few years ago. Buy this. I've read it and it rules:

Fair enough. I've read one Tour of Duty novel, it was pretty decent. Not that one. I might go Library Genesising on it. I ain't got no cash (see Trollheart's Year of Hell for why...)

This site is honestly better since you don't need to download anything and its selection is comprehensive (including up to date current series). If I weren't an obsessive collector who's paranoid sites like this will all get shut down one day I'd delete all my stolen comics to free up space.

Of any ICP album that's probably the best choice. That or Ringmaster. Great Milenko definitely is their arena rock magnum opus of white trash anthems but doesn't have the spooky sounds I crave from those albums.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I'd choose Milenko otherwise cause it's their most fun album and really takes their performances to another level, but it also takes their ludicrous lyricism down to a level that isn't as quotable, and while their performances are more loveably cartoonish the schtick is dumbed down and loses a lot of the story telling quality. Ringmaster is great but kind of a trial run for Riddle Box. I'd take Beverly Kills over Ringmaster honestly if I wanted the same sound.

Thanks for that. Looks cool.
Also, how big is your comic collection? On your computer I mean. Dropbox will probably take most of that.

Nah. Ringmaster over Beverly Kills. Ringmaster is the album where they actually found their sound while the previous two were them trying to find a sound when they weren't quite ready to let go of hardcore gangster rap.

You ever listen to Paris? He's an old school black panther gangster rapper and his music has a very clear and noticeable influence on ICP. I think you might enjoy him to some extent. His music borders on horrorcore sometimes and he has this song called AWOL that really reminds me of OH and his strong convictions against war. Really underrated legend.

I understand where you're coming from but I still think Beverly Kills is close enough to Ringmaster that the difference is kind of negligible, and since it's an EP the quality curation is higher so it's much more all killer no filler. Beverly Kills really was the true beginning of ICP. It's close though. On another day I might agree with you. But "The Stalker" is one of those quintessential ICP tracks that has no class and a 10/10 hook that is everything to me and wins the battle all by itself. Not quite any song off Ringmaster is as fantastic.

I think that this ho likes me
SHE TELLS YOU TO **** OFF WITH SUCH CLASS
I think that this ho likes me
YEAH GO ON AND GET THAT ASS

Never heard of him. Will check it out. A track or two to get me started?

Oh and one thing I can say about Beverly Kills over Ringmaster is that the grimy gangster rap production kills while Ringmaster's production is more experimental but also a trial run for Riddle Box so it's not as consistent.
