Only recently got into Destroyer’s work, starting with Kaputt and now Streethawk: A Seduction pretty heavily. This new album has 3 singles out and I think all three are fantastic. Been a while since I’ve looked forward to a specific album this much

Really hyped for this one. Broken grimey beats leading to sparse granular synth bits. Just get anything on Subtext, they don't put out much, but the quality of their releases is bar none.

R.A.P Ferreira (FKA Milo) - Purple Moonlight Pages (March 6th)

The Strokes and the Killers are set to put new albums out this year. It's as if the genre of my 20's is making a comeback. I now patiently await a My Morning Jacket album.

I've been seeing March 27, but I guess the February date is the Australian/New Zealand release date. Hopefully that's the one that hits streaming services (it's gonna leak anyway), but I went ahead and added both dates to the OP.

lol did he change his name because of Milo Yiannopoulos or is he trying to move forward artistically? I remember he was not pleased with his stage name being tainted by that taint.

Nah, quite sure it had to do with allegations of sexual assault made towards Busdriver. If I'm remembering correctly he said he felt a large part of his early success was down to Busdriver's help, and he didn't want his material associated with him any further.

Johann Johannsson & Yair Elazar Glotman - Last And First Men (Mar 23)



I can't tell you how excited I am for this. I've been following Yair Elazar Glotman since he was making dark ambient music under the KETEV moniker, and to see him do so much over the past few years and getting to work with Johann Johannsson is just crazy. He helped finish the Mandy OST after Johann died, and now he's helped to bring his first and last directorial film to light. I wish I could say how emotional I am about this.

I was going off that because I saw no other information. Kind of weird there was no release date for the digital version.

Soccer Mommy has a new album out called Color Theory. Really looking forward to getting it, I really enjoyed her last album Clean.
