Elton John Music Discussion

Elton John this week became the oldest artist to top the ARIA singles charts! The previous holder of that title was Paul McCartney.

The song in question is of course a re-recording of a mashup of several Elton songs done with the collaboration of Pnau. As such I'm not a big fan of it; however it's still better than most modern pop, IMO.

When we first spent a lot of time in France..
every time we went in to the Supermarkets particularly the Intermarche group Elton would be beaming out...Sacrifice.
...I have a couple of his CD's amongst many that I have not played for years...
Definitely was not a fan but liked some of his music.. always taken in a lot of music that was/is around so I do get a tad overloaded with listening at times
Can't name favorites either as I go for a few songs by someone then another one/two... comes along.
Past... can say overall The Who..
