Strongest musical instruments in a Band? :)

I always thought the KEYBOARD/Synthesizer was the weakest musical instrument in a band until I realized recently that a lot of songs I like, the Keyboard/Synthesizer is actually one of my favorite parts. A lot of time I was getting the guitar confused with the Keyboard/Synthesizer. For example, I love the "du du du du du!" Part of She Bop by Cyndi Lauper and I thought that was the guitar, but recently found out it's the keyboard/Synthesizer..

The drum is the foundation of the song, amd the guitar helps being melody and harmony.

I'd say the bass or the drums, for sure.
Sure they're not the most noticeable, but they have the strongest influence on the tone of the song/band at least in my opinion.

In my last band I either played the keyboard or electronic guitar, and depending on which instrument i played we sounded entirely different as a band, I give you that. Keyboard, especially when sounding like a piano made us sound like a boogie woogie group, and with the guitar it was hard rock. So yeah they make a huge difference, too..

But the drummer and bassist, those dudes have the real power
