I love her for her unique fashion style and of course her music.
She’s beautiful and an amazing woman.

Her brief foray into postpunk was really very cool

Never really got into Grace Jones, per se, but I loved her rebellious attitude.

Of course, she started out as a show stopping model. Then she branched out into music and acting. The early Disco stuff is fun if you like dance music but once she teamed with Jamaican reggae producers, Sly & Robbie, she became a club legend. Her album, Compass Point Sessions, is a great comp the best of her work with them.

I have to say I like Grace Jones, as she scares the **** out of me. Did you see her in Conan the Destroyer? Jesus Christ, she was made for that part! And her video for "Pull Up To the Bumper"? Chills, man, chills.

The only songs though I know of hers are her singles: "Love is the Drug" (Roxy Music cover), "Slave to the Rhythm" and the aforementioned "Pull Up To the Bumper", all great songs.

When I think of Grace Jones, the first thing that always comes to my mind is her cover of this song by 'The Normal'...

I wouldn't bother, unless a) you're into sword and sorcery, in which case I love you or b) you like Arnie stomping around in a loincloth. If you really want the better movie go for the original Conan the Barbarian. Oh, and I don't mean the bloody remake. This scene alone makes it worth watching the movie (1:12)

The first Conan movie is definitely better but it doesn't have Grace Jones in it and that's a negative.
