I agree with you guys. Kind Of Blue is spoken of as some kind of innovative milestone, but from this distance in time, who knows what new musical ground it was breaking? It just sounds old-fashioned to me although I don't think I've ever got beyond the first couple of tracks.

In A Silent Way, though: yep, I've played this many many times for pleasure. A great album that rewards repeated listening.

Kind of Blue doesn't make the cut.
How will I sleep tonight?

Someone nominate something, I've work to do.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Doubt you'll get much traction with that with most people, but I'll (love) Bite(s), though I do prefer Pyromania.

Production is just so damn clean damn and it may be stuck in a time capsule but I’ll be triple damned if the songs still don’t hit emotionally despite the cheesy lyrical content, but for the passionate playing therein.

How about just pick your favorite Def Leppard album? First album to get to five wins.

And I get dibs on the next one ( I wonder who I'll choose? )

Stop trying to push your "best of five" idea. Not gonna happen.

Beats the Kind of Blue or bust approach

I just thought of something else (or as Confucius once famously said, "Duh! ).

Would it simply be easier for each interested member to list his/her favorite albums and they'd essentially be among the MB's favorites? After all, what makes my favorite all- time album any more important than Batlord's? I mean, we're all MBers, right?

But, it's your thread, Trolls, so you do what you want. In the end, we'll still be talking about Covid and world domination anyway.
