Some of these make me feel stupid for forgetting about them (like, Europe, Asia and United States of America).

But some others I never heard of.

Still, I figured there had to be a bunch I never heard of, so I'm not surprised about them.

I didn't know United States of America was a band. I thought they were referencing Presidents of the United States of America.

United States of America was a 1-album band who came out with a well-regarded psychedelic/experimental album in 1968 but then split up.

The United States of America was a one off band created by Joe Byrd (Of Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies for you rock historians) and Dorothy Moskowitz. Brilliant electronic album.
