What are these "feelings" of which you speak?

Seriously: if the guy can't take a joke, he deserves all he gets. If anyone wants to start a thread with music to annoy me feel free. Wouldn't bother me in the least. However I was mildly annoyed by his snipe at me for no reason other than that he doesn't seem to like me, so no, I don't feel sorry for him, not at all.

You know, of course, the thing to do would be to join in and do that old self-deprecatory humour, but I doubt he will.

He probably thinks you're part of the bourgeois mainstream or whatever that means.

Metal is a lot heavier than punk and can be more operatic depending on the group. It's also more commercial in some circles (the Glam Metal of the 80's for example). Punk is more simplistic, very rebellious, when done best, very real. Thus, no one can accuse me of being a metalhead, but I absolutely love punk rock (well, most forms anyway- Pop Punk can stick it )
