and you make a good point with your speech earlier about classifying music. however because this site runs on a filter you might consider either toning down your language or using feck for ****. or something like that...yea...

Norma Jean, Bleeding Through, Dillinger Escape Plan are awesome hardcore bands! Havent read all of this thread so the may have allready been mentioned!

Just head a song by Avenged Sevenfold and I was impressed. The singer has a great voice. I saw their video on the Headbangers Ball last night. They were on the Ball a few weeks ago, but I missed it.

My favourite hardcore bands are:
Converge (great to play to friends that think Green Day are a tad too heavy)
Black Flag (Henry Rollins!!)
Refused (The greatest band ever in the world)
Minor Threat (They may have only recored at bit over 47 minutes of music in their career but it was damn good)
