Brand New -v- Taking Back Sunday
So wats everyones opinion??Personally i find i really hard to decide and go through phases of lovin one more than the other!
Musically i think Brand New are far more talented but i would listen to TBS a lot more! (Hope this hasn't been asked before) |
Brand New makes songs that resemble music.

I like Brand New much more then Taking Back Sunday.. i used to listening to a lot of Taking Back Sunday, and alot of Brand New around the same time.. but i found Brand New how a much better sound, and there lyrics seemed to be more meaningful.. I mean Taking Baker Sunday does have amazing songs/and lyrics to boot but well Brand New just has so much more.. Taking Back Sunday aren't as good as what they used to be either, there just turning to crap..
I'm so gald this wasn't Finch V. Brand New cause really i wouldn't know how to answer.. *gups.. * |
Well adam can actually sing, and instrumentally they're equal. Lacey makes some decent lyrics overall nothing special. On the first album they totally ripped off taking back sunday, which is a minus on their part. Deja Entendu gets old fast, TBS doesn't I can listen to them and not get bored, so taking back sunday.

anyway brand new is currently my all time favorite band so its obvious that im gonna pick them. but i probably enjoy taking back sunday just as much. |
No, Jesse Lacey was TBS's singer for awhile, he took their sound and used it. Even if it was the other way around which i doubt, TBS did it better. Plus adam can actually sing.

So you're saying that finch and straylight run were both off shoots of TBS?

Who the fuck was in TBS from Finch??
And. Brand New. . . I like TBS and all, sometimes, but I listen to brand new about 5 times more often than I do TBS. Specially as TBS' later album Ive only managed to listen to twice, doesnt leave a lot of material for listening. |
hmm.
I think i'll have to go for Brand New. I like them both, but have always liked Brand New abit more. |
