Default Textbook Traitors - You Pull The Strings That Make Us Dance

1. Fine Day To Die
2. Anatomy Of A Teenage Hit List
3. Force Fed Voiced
4. Siamese Seperation Catastrophe
5. From Counting To Calculus
6. This Is My Speech Act

All I can say about this band is that they are ****ing mindblowing. The most angular riffs and dissonant songs you've ever heard that some how make sense. Think a more rapid-fire and insane Jane Doe. Think the evolution of 'punk' as it were. This band is on the cusp of the music of the future. Get into it.

(I've listened to this 15 minute wonder 6 times today and am not the LEAST bit bored with it)

No matter how good I say it is it won't do it justice at all.

If you guys like this band you may also like A Light In the Attic, An Army of Flying Robots, Takaru, Isadora Crane, Beneath Low Flying Planes, Phoenix Bodies, and Force Fed Glass. To name a few.

umm... i enjoy tech grind as much as anyone else, but this is nothing new.

quite the opposite, actually. it's probably the fastest growing underground genre. there's a new act born every minute.

+stand before the firing squad

+the sawtooth grin

+the great redneck hope
+combatwoundedveteran
+cloacal kiss
+penknifelovelife
+deadwater drowning
+arsonists get all the girls

(those last three are more tech metal, but whatever. and while i'm on it, i recommend everyone check out arsonists. they throw in neat synths every once in awhile, and 'Scorbra vs. Cupcake: Battle of the Bulge' has an awesome classic rock-esque breakdown, ala maylene and the sons of disaster. in fact, i'll upload the album. gimme a sec.)

(this really deserves its own thread) arsonists get all the girls - hits from the bow: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JKZVZ0OE

and of course you've got good ol' noisecore:

+daughters
+jenny piccolo
+tower of rome
+tunes for bears to dance to

I wish sawtooth grin were still around. They were silly. I bought an album off of the singer cos he said they had no use holding on to them anymore. 5 bucks!

^I've heard quite a few of the bands you posted as well as most that APS posted. All the bands are great, probably the first one I heard was Great Redneck Hope.

It came out early '03. Ahead of most bands mentioned. Plus they do it well.

imo
