I can understand if subgenres are created and you wanted to help recommend music, blah blah blah, but... emo violence is a term given to describe 4 ****ing bands.

That is the ridicolous part. I could be more sympathetic if the count of bands could at least hit the double digits, but even then... c'mon. Some of genres are coined jokingly (as mentioned previously), but "emo violence" is seriously a joke considering it is used to describe a couple of bands that were friends and played shows together and had similarities. Just ****ing call them the other silly terms that can be taken with a grain of salt.

They ought to be grouped with the other bands of their time like Mohinder and Assfactor 4, rather than have their own special group anyway.
