3.) Crimpshine another early pop-punk band... pre-Fifteen if I'm not mistaken; it's got that talent-laden, dynamic sound Jawbreaker had... if you're a Monsula fan, you'll probably dig it. Duct Tape Soup is awesome, and could easily fit under the Emocore title.
4.) Second Story Window (not the modern-day Metalcore act of similar moniker) was a Hardcore Emo band with a member or two from Heroin... they've got a s/t LP and an EP; bloody brilliant stuff. Kinda like a tad more upbeat Heroin with whacked out vocals.

I'll hook you up tommorow if you'd like
It would be appreciated man.

MCR's songs are probably like pop-hardcore because everyone knows them. Here's my list of good Hardcore/Emo bands, including my own.
Left-Over Crack
Finch
My Secret Attraction
Taking Back Sunday

Excellent bands. Left-Over Crack is my absoulute favorite of them all. Good Guitar and a lot of great vocals.
