I'm not saying it's not stupid just that there are/were decent bands with ridiculous names. Post-rock is worse for this.

I have enough knowledge because I attend high school.

You going to tell me those are quality bands? I don't know if you know this, but a band name is an artistic statement all its own. Sure, it's not a merit to judge a artist solely on, but I've noticed a trend with these bands in that they're all crap. Besides, it's a pet peeve of my own, just because you don't understand my logic for how I search for music doesn't mean I'm wrong in how I do things. I won't dismiss this band, though, since they seem to be respected on a respectable site.

Actually, those are more like phrase band names rather than sentence band names.
um these bands have nothing in common with i wrote haikus... and their names arent even that long

I said they're bands with names that are phrases. And I wasn't comparing them to i wrote haikus, just saying that I don't like those kinds of band names. I already said I wouldn't dismiss i wrote haikus on that notion already.

Way to go man. I like your style. I have heard this band, and listened to only a few songs, but I will listen to more so I can give you a nice solid answer.

I would not listen to this band just based on the name alone.

That's a poor way to look at it, as was previously discussed.

lol, thats stupid not to listen to someone just because of the name

anyways, when i first heard this band, I thought theysucked

after a while, they grew on me and I really liked them

now Ive tended to not be interested in a lot of these type of bands anymore.

change of topic, does anyone dig iron lung? they rip.
