yeah, but so far it seems like going into the chatrooms is the best way to find people with folders you would want to steal from

What I do is I search for cool rare bands [even if I happen to have it] and then right click on their user name and browse files. That works pretty well.

Im such a sissy. I always get really guilty from using soulseek. I feel like im stealing from the musicians.

^i've actually talked to a couple of people in bands that use soulseek/torrents. made me feel a little better. to be fair they weren't the most well known or successful bands, but still.

stolen bikes ride faster, the machines will take over and tokyo adventures were the bands if anyones interested...

One of the dudes from Caspin? I think? Anyway they messaged my friend who uploaded their album on Oink thanking them for doing it and spreading their music to people.

username = killreco, drop me a line and I'll add you - I only share with people on my list, but I do share a pretty generous amount of music

soulseek hasn't been working well for me. When I clicked "test firewall and router settings, it said that my ports were closed and not properly configured...this wasn't an issue when I had roadrunner, but now that I have DSL, it is. Does anyone know what to do about that?
