Default Interesting emo/screamo music

I'm looking for some interesting emo/screamo music.

I love bands like Rites of Spring and Moss Icon, but that's not really what I'm after (although some Moss Icon songs are what I'm looking for, especially Lyburnum Wits End Liberation Fly).

I'm certainly not looking for bands where every song is extremely similar (ie - Orchid, Ampere, etc)

Here's a list of the kind of the kind of bands I'm looking for:

City of Caterpillar
A Day in Black & White
Maximillian Colby
Indian Summer
Gospel
CTTS
early Unwound
Drive Like Jehu
some Hoover

in other words, bands that have interesting song structure, interesting instrumentation, some build-ups (catharsis!), some quiet/loud Slint-y post-rock type moments, morphing time signatures and crazy drumming. Any variant of all those, or anything similar to the bands I mentioned. You get the picture?

Do you want the obvious ones like 1905 or the lesser known like kakistocracy?

if you are into drive like Jehu, you would probably love the Refused album - the shape of punk to come.

and if your into max colby, go get sleepytime trio.

I've heard The Refused. I like them, but it's not exactly what I'm after. I'll check out Sleepytime Trio.

I haven't heard any of the bands in the last 3 posts except Envy, so I'll have fun going through those. Cheers again.
