Has nothing to do with being an "expert". Has everything to do with having a discerning ear and caring enough about what you're listening to to do just a little bit of homework.

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic in my response to what you said, I think it may have come off that way.
Maybe "expert" wasn't the best term to use, what I mean is, I listen to a lot of different music, I don't listen to much grind, but I've been told that it is grind by some people who know quite a bit about music and their genres.
I lurked yourblog spot- and you seem very musically intelligent, I won't argue with you because you probably know a lot more than I do.

true but daughters and #12 shred more than most. You shouldn't pick out those bands seeing as they're pretty ****ing talented. You just don't like em cos yr super into the genre haha. They cater to a different crowd and that crowd doesn't even give em the respect they deserve most of the time. IT'S ALL METAL MAN!

I consider them to be, but fair enough.

Insect Warfare are from Texas and recently put out a full length. I'll up it shortly.

the most ridiculous genre I've ever had thrown at me was 'artcore'. I literally broken down laughing. you hear some hilarious **** when scenesters try to make up genres for cred
