i've been getting into grindcore/thrash/punk a lot more lately. here are the bands i've been jamming

Birdflesh (if you only check out one band on this list, make it this trio)
Dropdead
Magrudergrind
Cyness
Facedownin****
Regurgitate
Retaliation
**** the Facts

if you want some new school grind

The Great Redneck Hope
Twodeadsluts Onegood**** (almost noiserock)
Vessels Cast from Crippled Hands
Combatwoundedveteran
Destroyer Destroyer
East West Blast Test
Hewhocorrupts
Lye By Mistake (avant-grind)
Preschool Tea Party Massacre (hilarious cybergrind)
Robinson
See You Next Tuesday (mixture of death, grind, -core, tech)
Tower of Rome (noisecore)

wide variety of styles in there, check 'em out to see what you like.

absolutely love this list. almost all these bands are some of my favorites in the spazzy hardcore/grind scene. Why has no one said Nasum yet? most likely my favorite traditional grind band out there.

As The Sun Sets ruled as well, much better than Daughters, in my opinion. Check out Letters In Binary (some awesome friends of mine from Detroit). Maruta from FL is pretty awesome as well. Check out Shed For You (from FL as well)...they just called it quits, but they played some really great jazzy grind sort of like TGRH does/did.

Maruta is great.

And I like your first list enemyat_thesix, but not your second.

I'd add the classics (Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Brutal Truth) as well as Gadget, Insect Warfare, Watchmaker and some good crossover stuff like Uphill Battle and Gadget.

Khann. Guys from the (not so) awesome Orlando, Florida.
Not sure if you'd classify them as grind, seeing as they're all over the spectrum of heavy, but whatever, I have to plug them for love.
their on myspace @ /khannn

Piggy D is a must.
Cloacal Kiss, Sawtooth Grin, and Genghis Tron for some cybergrind.
Circle Of Dead Children, Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus.
I think they are all good, different kinds of grindcore.

Probably my favorite out of them is The Great Redneck Hope, Im so happy that they're not on hiatus anymore =D.

good list, I second Letters In Binary, they're really awesome. Their instrumentals and vocals are both equally good. Brutal Truth is pretty sweet, if your bored, they have the shortest music video ever recorded which is 4 seconds long haha. Pig Destroyer and The Sawtooth Grin are both choice as well.

Check out Me and Him Call It Us

word. I'm listening to The Crinn right now. Their newest EP is really solid technical hardcore. Check out Showmaker Levy 9 if you like spazzy stuff, they're from France. Also check out Test Switch Isolator, so good. ****storm is pretty good as well. Thanks to whoever dropped Insect Warfare, I love that band.

am I the only one who thinks Magrudergrind is pretty lame?
