These guys will help you out......

the 924 Gilman Street Project and Untitled Document

Just explain what you want to do and ask for advice. I don't know if Koo's is run by the the same kids who started it years ago but they were super cool kids who would help anyone out.

GOOD LUCK!

yeah, definitely. Talk to local bands like Cheer Up and some of those over on the coast, like Gillian Carter and Cassettes on Fire...I think those guys might be of some help as well. Head over to ****ingsunshinestate.com. I swear you will find so many kids who will at least try to give you some help over there. Treymon is a cool dude. Some friends of mine were trying to set up shows down there, and I went to the boards over there and I had a few kids give me contact info for setting up shows at their places and they worked out and everything, so I know for a fact there are plenty of DIY-minded kids in the FLA who are willing to do ****.

Make sure you get a microphone though lol cause if they expect you to play instrumental you might not get one.

This morning, after promoting up a storm last night, the booker emailed me and said the venue owner doesn't want us to play because we scream. Us boys in The Greatest Pinball all like that one genre of music called Post-Rock, so we always try having a certain level of Post-Rockery in our music. So the first thing I said to him was "We can play instrumental." He said yes. Does this lower our integrity if we do it? Should we even do it? It kind of sucks that we cant scream at all, but oh well:/
Ah i was in Orlando about this time. When is/was the show?

UPDATE
Show went alright. A LOT of our friends showed up. It was nice getting paid for once, but it wasn't a big deal to me. We played too loud for the venue, so they asked us to turn down quite a few times. They asked us to play again next week, but I'm not digging the idea. I kind of don't like having strong ideals when they clash with other band members. Specifically, playing shows for money and selling music, but whatever. thats a different story.
