please give us a listen. and to anybody here who's heard my other stuff, i did NOT record this with a digital camera like i did with the old demos.

tyrannobear 04-17-2008 11:30 AM

xcult_classicx 04-17-2008 11:48 AM

bardonodude 04-17-2008 03:47 PM

wow!!!! you guys are really good, I heard your other recordings and I thought you guys were horrible haha. Awesome though, I cant wait to dl your e.p., anyway I can get a hold of an actual copy? Vocals are fricking top notch, I love great redneck hope-esque vocals. the only part I dont really like is that southern part in the middle of "so this is home" haha. Shame on you jk :)

xcassiusx 04-17-2008 04:07 PM

Awesome. Great job on all of the work. Hope to hear more from you guys.

alliteration 04-17-2008 05:38 PM

good ****.

xcult_classicx 04-17-2008 05:54 PM

thanks guys. expect something new from us later this year, we are working on longer and less metally material. earlier on, we wanted to do the whole metallic screamo thing, but eventually, epicness caught on and now we're back to writing long stuff again. we'll keep you guys posted. thanks so much for the feedback. :)

sleepy jack 04-17-2008 06:12 PM

I think the only way you could own more is if you wrote a song called "Ethan, I Love You."

xcult_classicx 04-17-2008 07:45 PM

remind me to make one, it'll be on the next ep. i'm srs ethan.

swim 04-17-2008 07:48 PM

I'll download and give you my thoughts later today.

xcult_classicx 05-08-2008 05:13 AM

hay guise, the EP is done. i'ma just repost some details from the CB blog.

the EP comes in the form of a 3" cd-r in a clear/white case with a pink and white album cover. each copy will be sent in small, classy letter envelopes containing both the inserts and the cd itself. they will be hand-numbered and personally addressed to whichever name you choose to go by. as for the shirts, i'm afraid they'll have to wait since our friend is still working on the stencils. all i can say for now is they will probably come in yellow with either black or pink prints. anyway, back to the EP.

here are some pics:

Not my cup of tea (genre wise) but you guys sound great. Recording quality is good, the songs have direction and the band is tight.

Good job.

alliteration 05-08-2008 04:51 PM

dude, i want one of those. awesome stuff.

we did most of our stuff at home, but the drum tracks and vocals were recorded in a studio. we handled all the guitar tracks, bass tracks and mixing though, so yeah. and this is home is actually our take on the generic hardcore song every band should have, haha.

Alfred 05-08-2008 07:44 PM

Shweet.

What kind of equipment do you have at home (mixers, mics)? Sorry if i'm being a little too, y'know.

xcult_classicx 05-08-2008 07:51 PM

nah, i don't mind. our bassist owns this tricked out pc with a 4 channel Peavy mixer, a vintage mic and a Behringer v-amp2. my guitarist handles all of the mixing because he has more free time in his hands, the guy seems to have a fairly good ear for frequencies and whatnot. i do plan on buying an M-Audio black box 2 though, i heard that thing's a pretty good v-amp, might come in handy when i re-do the basement of this place i'm moving into so it could be used as a studio and shit.

bardonodude 05-09-2008 01:25 PM

some parts in Peduran are really choice

pheurton 05-13-2008 01:08 AM

Do you ship to the UK?

xcult_classicx 05-13-2008 03:36 AM

we're working on it. we were thinking of shipping stuff to a few friends and birmingham and scotland.

jackhammer 05-13-2008 02:29 PM

Very good. I like it a lot. I really like good drum tracks and you have them!

xcult_classicx 05-14-2008 03:47 AM

wow, thanks, man. i'ma tell my bandmates about that. :)
