Emo does stand for emotional but i tend to think of it as very introspective rock music that is usually on the softer side of things and has heartfelt lyrics.

why define anything? defining would only be limiting it, and putting limitations on music ruins it.

except with one amendment, they'd be constantly saddened by the fact that they don't have a girlfriend, cause lets face it, none of us would go out with the guy you just described, well except the "emo girls" but then they'd just get each other depressed and ebd up comiting suicide together, so they dont really count.
