Default Emo Hate....

I read this article in a magazine about violence in Mexico trying to get rid of the emos in their country. There were a ton of violence towrds emo kids, so my question is....What are your thoughts on this?

The real question is... Kids in mexico can afford staying up-to-date with trends?

The fact they are refered to as a group of people as emos is a bit sad. It's a bit like chavs in the UK, there's all this prejudice thrown around just because of a generalised stereotype.
Then again if you actively defend yourself to be under these tags then maybe you deserve what you get.

The emo stereotype is bull****. Maybe if these kids were so hardcore, they could actually research the history of emo, and see that this gothic crap was something the mainstream made up.
