Hmm, I'd call Chevelle mod rock, but they definitely have more emo tendencies than say Nickelback.

As for vendetta red, I'd definitely call them emo, but the hardcore emo, closer to Texas is the Reason or Jawbreaker. So we'll call them emo/new metal.

I consider Chevelle Nu Metal, I guess. They toured with Distured and Taproot on the Music as a weapon II tour.

Yes, I'd call them Nu Metal as well, but I actually enjoy their music, it actually has something to it, as opposed to Trapt and the sort. I also like LostProphets so...
