Hard to believe this band came out of MI, considering most everyone in MI loves ****ty degenerative metalcore.

I use to be way into them. I've always thought that they were one of the bands Don Martin 3 was making fun of with Fire as A Metaphor.

haha I think you're right swim, dude alliteration, so many awesome early emo bands came out of michigan. ****ing Ottawa, Constatine Sankathi...um Current, haha all I can think of at the moment. I have a feeling things used to be different in Michigan 10 years earlier

did don martin 3 really make fun of emo bands in their brief 7 song existence? never really listened that hardly to understand what they were saying.

I've read several places that Fire as Metaphor was intentionally recorded badly and put on cheap badly as a joke and they were going to repress it but everyone loved it so they never did. I've heard that the vocals were tongue in cheek too and that's the part that reminds me of current.

Michigan has had a long history of some excellent hardcore bands. I know its hard to believe but they had a pretty strong emo scene here in the early/mid-90's. You obviously wouldn't know it now though.
