its funny that he doesn’t want to dwell but he goes out of his/her way to come post on the emo board about how he/she doesn’t like emo i got a good laugh out of it.....and that doesn’t happen much you know with me being emo in all =)

O yes to Urban Hatemonger if you are feeling nice could you kindly post some of the soo called good emo that you listen to? im just curious

ok my opinion here emo is much more than just a genre of music, its a lifestyle that you make and you decide what you want to listen to i mean i listen to the royal tennenbaums soundtrack and i consider it emo and i consider mortal treason emo but thats just me i mean i dont think that hawthorne is emo in any way or anything like that i just think that emo is all about what you make it, some rich popular "pop punk" emo kid is going to have a different explanation of emo than a ahem real kid with real problems who sits in the back of class and gets made fun of for the way he dresses and is hated by most every guy and gets along with most every girl will, what i mean is, one will be a mediatized mtv version of emo and the other will be a actual elliot smith stab yourself in the heart, slit wrists, half a bottle of asprin, chain smokin, alcoholic, dirty, real side of emo, if that makes any real sense

oh and this comment pal if i ever meet you on the street i will kick your ass nobody calls my tunes pop thats crossing a line bro and im no teenage girl bro so dont try to put me into some bull**** box cuz that really pisses me off i mean you dont know me man but i will tell you this yea im emo but that dont mean that i cant stomp you hell just two weks ago in the hospital i kicked some guys ass for making fun of me, with alcohol poisening so no iron and wine-not pop gloria record-not pop, appleseed cast-not pop, ex models-not pop,belle and sebastian-not pop, teagen and sara-not pop, blood brothers-not pop, fallen stars forgotten-not pop, edison gale-not pop, joy division-not pop,conor-not pop,all time quarterback-not pop,bear vs shark-not pop and i can go on and on

Please don`t even think of lumbering Joy Division in with all that **** you`ve listed.

Oh and Belle & Sebastian openly call themselves pop.

have you ever even listened to belle and sebas because if you have then there is no way that you can call them pop,but then again i guess YOU could because ive come to the conclusion that you are a complete moron with no respect for music, and if you are such a musical intellect then you will have no problem telling us some good bands, and then weeping as i rip them apart
