Default hai guise, h8 politrix?!

Refer to Scholastic Deth's "kill em with politics"
My point is: Hardcore/punk is about politics, social issues, AND ALL THOSE PUNK THANGS. So let's talk about those awesome bands!

Lately I've been digging a lot of: Phoenix Bodies, The Dream Is Dead, Yaphet Kotto, Cease Upon the Capitol, Dropdead.

I'm not going to post all the incredible bands that have existed, so go ahead! Got any secret bands you've been hiding or general recommendations? Post it!
None of that posi ****! Just straight up, pissed off, tell your congressman to eat ****, punx rawk (and your screamo **** too, all subgenres/categories of the punk/hardcore tree)

Propagandhi.

They're a full course meal of hating the effing government.

"..but wait a minute dad, did you actually say freedom?
If you're dumb enough to vote, you're fucking dumb enough to believe 'em.
Cause if this country, is so goddamned free, then I can burn your
fucking flag wherever I damned well please."

Yep, they're pretty motivated.

****, all the old hardline/veganedge bands in the 90s!
Downcast
Green Rage
Chokehold
(Vegan Reich)
Dismay

Also, Tears of Gaia is really ****ing intense!

Also, Moss Icon, many of the French bands (Jasemine (see: Héritage), Ivich, Anomie, Fingerprint, etc.), Rorschach, Born Against, The Yah Mos, Econochrist, Frail, etc. etc. What exactly are you looking for?

EDIT: Also, The Bride of Changes from Russia.

haha, my friend burnt me Rorschach's Autopsy not too long ago. He kept talking about how the dude had throat cancer and how everything sounded awesome. Frail is really awesome too (I hear all of their shows were just bouts of rage [due to the band members always being pissed at each other] mixed in with samples) and i think its really interesting that Atom and His Package mentions them in one of his songs . Jasemine is great as well, I havent listened to them for a while though..
