Default where's the love for Naked Raygun?

i was under the impression these dudes were fairly popular, but there aren't too many people here that yammer on about them.

for those that don't know: eighties hardcore out of Chicago/Illinois area, ballsy as **** and pretty sweet recording musicians as well. sound a lot like the Huskers from time to time, but they're not quite as scatterbrained. all their LPs through the 80s are awesome, Throb Throb is probably my favorite but that's bound to change in time.

any other fans here?

When I first saw the title of this I thought you were going to say Naked City, and I was about to jump all over that. Never heard of these fellows but they sound pretty cool... post some music please.

....I've got love for the naked raygun. Basement Screams would be the last album I bought. I know most people have only heard of the name but not the band itself.Everything pre-Jettison is their best stuff.

I was really into allrise and throb throb for a while. I remember bs was really bizzare when I first heard it, but I'm slowly warming up to it. Tojo is particularly good. I think they reunited, but only play in the chicago area-which is a damn shame.

I bought their Jettison tape when it came out because the band seemed to have appeal among my metal friends and punk kids. All of the band's cover art was really good and they had a lot of scene cred in general.
But I could never get into it. In fact, nothing I have heard by them has excited me much at all. They are one of those bands that I feel like I must be missing something because all the right elements are there - but I don't care for the music.
