What's your favorite band at the moment + why??

I'd go for Avenged 7Fold! They sound totally unique. Really diverse and they're awesome live!

Since you werent specific on it, I'll just list them. My favorite band of all time is Smashing Pumpkins, my current favorite band/artist that is still around and touring is a tie between Morrissey and Coheed and Cambria. Yeah, Coheed could probably be construed as my emo selection too.

Snickers and forgottenhero, those bands are not emo. There is a sticky that can help you understand what emo is.

I completely agree with that. Even though Thursday are my joint-favourite band, I really really really love them. Words cant actually describe it... Well, they probably can, but I'd come off looking slightly sick and twisted.
