got enough x's in your name?

sigh

it's stupid to call it "emo dress". i do wear tight pants. (girls pants are lame) and often band shirts but I do not consider myself "emo" at all.

Black or brown hair. Flipped out on girls, mop top on guys. Horn-rim/thick black frames/cat eye glasses (this works for all three types). A silver necklace with a star charm. Scarves. A black or navy blue pea coat. Black messenger bag. No patches, 1 or 2 pins at the most (and only at the bottom of the strap). Heavy dress slacks. Doc Martens or clunky black shoes.
I think this is what the Threadstarter was referring too. It's kinda stupid though, I guess I dress sort of emo (small tees, converse shoes etc.) but I really don't see why music and fashion should be linked.

Fashion and music have almost always been linked...get over it.

Yes it's called a "Trend", and it only exists because are too afraid to be themselves and have to conform to fit a certain 'clique'. I say wear what you want and listen to what you want, it really makes no difference.

Maybe some people enjoy being part of a trend, maybe thats what they want to do, wear, and listen to. Anyways, what does it matter... It doesnt affect me so I say let 'em get on with it.

A trend wouldn't be a trend if people didn't want to dress like it.

Yeah and if that's how they feel more power to them, I was just trying to say that music and fashion shouldn't be intertwined so tightly. Anyway, I'll be quiet now .
