Dad Jazz - Exitpoint Stallion

Title: Exitpoint Stallion
Artist: Dad Jazz
Year: 2013
Bandcamp link

__________

I'm not sure if this is really emo, my sources say it's something called "powerviolence", a form of hardcore. It was the only album nominated, though, so it'll have to do. If the nomination was a joke, now is the time to tell us, haha

Listen, discuss

I really liked this album. Fun, energetic, and doesn't outstay it's welcome due to shorter track lengths. It's not blowing my mind or anything, but I will definitely come back to it.

Kind of a short review but I don't think it is an album that I can go into much detail on, as it's there to be noisy and kick ass. And it does that.

I swear it's not a joke. I'm actually friends with these dudes and I wanted to pick something I was sure no one had heard. I've often heard powerviolence associated with pretty closely with the whole skramz thing so that's why I chose it. My review is forthcoming, I've gotta bounce!
