Silent Drive. Someone from Bane is in it, and it's pretty damn good. Listen to 4/16

That is the person whom you are recommending this stuff too. Clearly, he's not going to see it. |

So apparently someone went searching for threads on Bane, and since no one talks about them here, the closest ones were that CKY show one, and this one. Great.

Bane is good. i have their last two CDs and a few tracks off the first full length. Give Blood is awesome. espicailly "ante up" and "sunflowers and sunsets" rise against is good too, but they went soft and radio-pleasing last album. i have all of theirs. the first two were the best: "the unraveling" which had "401 kill" and "everchanging" and revolutions per minute: "black masks and gasoline" and "to the core" and i'm tired of people trying to pigeonhole music into all sounding the same. its hardcore punk. the inclusion of melody or straight edge or metal guitar is what keeps the bands interesting. sorry, had to rant.

Well if we did that, why not loose the hardcore punk label and just call it punk? Labels tell us which bands sound alike. Even when we do pigeonhole bands, it doesn't mean that they will sound indentical, it simply saying that they have common ground. Ignite and MLIW for example, both have been labelled Melodic Hardcore, but have distinctly different sounds.
