New York is my least favourite area for hardcore but they did have a couple of decent hardcore bands. Urban Waste and Heart Attack are pretty good.

i gave away that cd i bought of them cause everyones right they do suck afterall the guy sounds like hes going to take a s,hit well hes signing

Good job conforming; however, if you ask me, I think that's as bad as doing a complete 180 on a band you love.

I mean it's okay to like them. It's just that some of the people here got a little pissed because you called them the "founders" of hard"x"core.

Okay I just saw this. I take some form of offense to this being from NYC. I can see how some people don't like AF but they were a big part of the NYHC scene.
Second so many bands came out of NYC that are good.

supertouch
sick of it all
gorilla biscuits
warzone
youth of today
underdog
cro-mags
etc...

so many good bands came out of here.

Very true, however a lot of bands who are largely influenced by the NYHC scene are lame "jock" core bands.
